With 1st lord
Sun enhances the significations of the first house - good health, physique, appearance, name and fame, duty-boundedness, discipline, ego/self-respect, occupying the center-stage, leading from the front, not waiting for others to direct / stimulate, fatherly qualities to self, high on morals, righteousness etc.
If afflicted with planets that are both inimical to Sun and the lagna lord, difficulty to the above significations arise. These problems increase if the sign is inimical to both Sun and the lagna lord. Mixed combinations will give mixed results.
With 2nd lord
If the sign is a male sign and the 2nd lord is a male planet, Sun enhances the significations of the second house like a good speech or voice quality, harsh speech, large eyes, large hearted and charitable, splendor and radiant face, protects the family, liking for spicy food.
