If the lord of the Moon Sign is placed well from the lagna, ensures good comforts (Subha) in life.
If its placed in 3,6,8,12 houses (not being in exaltation / own sign etc also), it is difficult to get / sustain comforts in life.
Even if the moon is placed in 6,8,12 signs, it is important to have Subhapati in good houses from Lagna – otherwise there is a lot of hardwork.
Kemadruma Yoga:
If there are no planets in the 2nd and 12th from Moon and the Kendras from the lagna are empty, it is called as Kemadruma Yoga.
For cancellation of this Yoga, more the number of planets are in Kendra from Lagna, the better. Also Kendras from the Moon.
Moon when in Kemadruma Yoga, placed in signs other than Jupiterian or Saturnine signs will do more harm.

Moon in Lagna
Mother:
The Moon indicates the mother. Kunti and Devaki were suffering when they were delivering babies.

Abhimanyu and Parikshit both were blessed by Krishna even before they were born.
Mercury was born due to an illicit relationship with Tara, the wife of Jupiter.

Pandu, Drona, Vasudeva, Jupiter:
Both Pandu and Drona have lost lives as they have become emotional.
Vasudeva was released from Prison only after Krishna fought Kansa and killed him.
Drona was betrayed by Pandvas [Ashwathama Hataha, Iti Kunjaraha]. Jupiter also felt betrayed by Moon as he had an affair with Tara.
Moon in 10th
Krishna & Arjuna's work and war:
These people are successful in early days of life independently.
Krishna was directing while Arjuna was working.
It is important to follow Dharma here {Moon loses directional strength}.
Despite all the efforts Krishna was blamed by Dritarashatra and Gandhari.
