పరస్తాత్ పంథా అవస్తాత్
Vishno = that is expanding itself. Viswam Vishnu of Vishnu Sahasranama- means that the universe is constantly expanding. Vamana came to MahaBali, he expanded (Trivikrama) covering all three worlds. Native is usually successful in distant lands (Vishnu travels to other earth and achieve success there). Vishnu means constantly expanding, the one who has no more place to expand (omnipresent), the one who cannot move any more (because there is no space to move) – Viswam Vishnu.
Shrona = 1) One who is limping (walking like the Vamana) with a pain in loin area / buttocks / thighs. 2) One who wants to listen – mostly good about himself, dislikes his critics.
Prucchamana = enquiring using sama-dana-bheda-danda upaya. 1) asking questions 2) beg 3) interrogate 4) demand. The native always asks about progress of something and keeps informing the progress from his side. Native leads a team usually and good leader like Rama is for Vanaras. Uttarashada is also a leader but like Sankaracharya for his disciples. On the flip side, interested in gossips.

Vishnu:
- When Rakshasas (Ravana / Hiranya Kasyapu) visit Viakunta, Vishnu disappears – not visible to them. Natives escape the scene calmly, if people who they dislike enter in / when criticized.
- Vyasa – is a form of Vishnu – who recited all the Vedas, Upanishads, Maha Bharata and Puranas. Natives are very good at understanding literature – have good vak sudhi / interested in people with vak sudhi. When they practice mantra japas – they attain Vak Siddhi.
- Vishnu always descended on to the Earth to destroy enemies for the benefit of people. Natives work primordially shall be to help others – this brings motivation for his work. Also they earn / settle at foreign place – where usually the language is different. Natives master this new language.
- This Vishnu is Rig Vedic Vishnu and is an Aditya, Aditi’s Son – Vamana.
- Vishnu is extremely biased – and has always used deception to betray Asuras. Native uses bias / prejudice to evaluate things and interested to help / serve his own people only. Does not mean native is not charitable.
- Vinayaka had to carefully listen and understand the Mahabharata before writing. Natives focus on listening and learning very much all through their life. Afflictions would mean otherwise here. Also Saraswati is another goddess here.
- Vishnu has a very devout spouse, Lakshmi always is present at the feet of Vishnu and also in the heart. Native gets a very good spouse. However, native may still have complaints about the spouse (at the surface level – as Venus is uncomfortable here in this nakshatra).
Vamana – King Bali – Sukracharya:
- Bali was ruling the 3 worlds (since Prahlad, his grandfather became the emperor) – Vishnu wanted to reestablish the kingdom of Suras (Indra). The natives are rich / earning well (when they earn).
- He descended as Vamana (the dwarf Brahmin adolescent boy) – short and limping as he is trying to walk. He is extremely bright and radiant.
- Vamana walked into Bali’s Kingdom – where Bali was doing charities after a Yagna.
- Bali was a very good and generous king. However, satwik ahankara crept into him. He is at a state of mind – where he thinks he can donate anything as he is ruling everything in the 3 worlds. Sometimes, natives are too generous and want to promise too much and unable to deliver it. Be careful with promises – do not promise anything for future.
- Sukracharya – because of his brilliance identified Vamana that he is Vishnu and advised Bali to be careful and not to over promise.
- However, King Bali did not listen to Sukra – and said “if its Vishnu and asks anything – I will give away everything”. Jupiter debilitates here because the King did not listen to his Guru on Gyana. Also Venus debilitates in 9th from here. Native may underestimate situations and will not sometimes listen to Guru.
- Vamana asked a land of 1 yard (3 footsteps). Bali granted him.
- Sukracharya lost his eye, as Vamana used a blade of grass to remove Sukra from the water pot – which is used for donation. Sukra represents the spouse – sometimes, spouse becomes a scapegoat (if seriously afflicted).
- Vamana kept on growing his size and occupied atmosphere and sky with two footsteps and finally pushed Bali into the underworld. If seriously afflicted, after Native’s father died – native may loose all the ancestral land and will be struggling in life – other reasons to struggle can be addictions. If guru’s advise is followed, native gains lands and improves life.
- This is the only avatara where the rakshasa is not killed and Bali will keep coming back every year and is blessed that he will be made Indra – in the next manvantara (Savarni). Native may not win but expands him so much that he owns the opponent also. Or the opponent voluntarily denounces the game.

Bad affliction can make the person unable to move (paralytic attack etc). Third footstep in this symbol can also mean a walking stick.
3. Arrow: In Shravana Nakshatra, the symbol of the arrow signifies focus, direction, and clarity. Just like an arrow moves with precision toward its target, this symbol represents the ability to stay focused on a goal and move with purpose. It also symbolizes purposeful action, concentration, and the pursuit of knowledge or spiritual goals, which aligns with Shravana’s themes of learning, listening, and seeking higher wisdom.
