Indrasya = The Indra, working day and night hard to follow the marga of Satya and establish himself.
Chitra= the star chitra, which is strange and good looking like a bright jewel / gem.
Rutam = the path of the truth / the cosmic order. Natives keep striving for reaching perfection / order in life.
Satyam = the ultimate truth, the godliness or emptiness, liberation. They oscillate between Maya and Satyam.
Chitragupta:
- He is the assistant / sub-ordinate of Yama. Usually, a devout follower of people who are on the path of Truth / honesty.
- Afraid of his boss to speak due to respect over him. Will blast any one only when confronted severely.
- Does not think much before speaking – very straightforward or sometimes rude to other people.
- Keeps a good account of the good and bad deeds of everyone. He cannot forget them – maintains a diary.
- Long work hours (similar to Yama) – but also has two wives. He will be working both at office and home. Cannot sit idle.
Viswamitra
- Son of a king, Gadhi. Went to Vashishta Ashram – got fascinated to Kama Dhenu (the sacred cow, that can give anything).
- Up on denial to receive Kama Dhenu – observed severe Penance.
- Became a Brahma Rishi (he can create) and exceeded Vashishta – as he accepted him as a Rishi.
- Helped Rama in adulthood in obtaining weapons (Astras and Shastras), mantras, helped him to marry Sita.
- As Trishanku was denied entry into swarga loka (heaven), he created another swarga for him.
- Indra and Viswedevas created Menaka (Apsara) and sent her to earth to disturb Viswamitra – they gave birth to Shakuntala. Shakuntala and Dushyanta – the starters of Mahabharata., through their son Bharata.
- Very highly determined to do anything.
Tvastar:
- Rigveda: Tvaṣṭā is frequently mentioned as the creator of forms and the maker of divine implements, such as Indra’s Vajra (thunderbolt).
- Atharvaveda: He is depicted as a universal creator and sustainer.
- Yajurveda: References his role in crafting the physical universe.
- Mythological Stories: Tvaṣṭā is known for creating the Sun and occasionally is depicted as a rival to Indra due to his son Viśvarūpa’s conflict with the gods.
So, he is the creator of the creation. His stories show immense skill and creativity. In another words, he is the Parabrahma. In Virgo, Uttaraphalguni (Bhaga) is the Vishnu, Hasta (Savitur) is the Shiva, Chitra (Indra) is the Brahma. Work is worship – from Virgo.
Viswakarma:
- Sometimes depicted as Tvastar – he maintains cosmic order.
- He is the celestial architect who built everything. Cities like Dwaraka, Kubera’s Lanka (later Ravana occupied it),
- He built bow of Shiva (Pinaka) and other weapons like disc of Vishnu, Sun’s charriot, Ravana’s Pushpaka Vimana etc.
- Restored the brightness of Moon and helped Sun reduce his bright and heat to suit the world – offers repairs as well.
- He also built the palace of Pandavas in Hastinapur. Palace in Indraprasta was built by Maya.
- He is often depicted as architect, carpenter, strategist, troubleshooter, creator-transferor etc.
Satya Harischandra:
Satya Harishchandra was a legendary king known for his unwavering commitment to truth and integrity. One day, Sage Vishwamitra tested his resolve by demanding his kingdom as a donation. Harishchandra, true to his word, gave up his throne and wealth, leaving with his wife Shaivya and son Rohitashva.
To fulfill his promise, Harishchandra worked in a crematorium, while his family faced severe hardships. Tragedy struck when their son died, but they couldn’t afford his funeral. Shaivya, devastated, approached Harishchandra for help, not recognizing him in his humble attire. Despite his grief, Harishchandra insisted on paying the fee for their son’s last rites, adhering to his principles.
Impressed by his unwavering dedication to truth, the gods and Sage Vishwamitra restored Harishchandra’s son to life and his kingdom. Harishchandra’s story is celebrated as a profound example of truth and righteousness in Indian mythology.
Savitri’s Husband:
- Savitri has many dialogues while Satyavan did not have any important dialogues in the story.
- Savitri leads the whole story while Satyavan is more like a following character.
- Satyavan is dead and then restored to life again.
- Many times, things may die off and will be restored – but will not end.
Venus’ Debility:
- Venus debilitates when there is no diplomacy.
- Venus debilitates when person refuses wealth to protect truth etc.
- Venus does not like hardwork – aims at smart work.
- very detailed and descriptive in communication.
- Highly creative / skillful.
- No retirement, as in Sanatana dharma, Truth is only thing that will remain till the end.
- Born in poor conditions (when Indra lost Rajya, or born to Kashyapa and Aditi in poor brahmin family)
