Vinata – Kadruva – Eggs – Snakes – Birds
- Kashyapa Prajapati is the father of the universe. He created all the species with the help of his several wives.
- Vinata – is one of the wives of Kashyapa, is the mother of birds.
- Kadruva – is another wife, who is the mother of Snakes.
- They were jealous of each other.
- They were playing games and betting against each other. The one who loses has to be the slave of the other.
- Kadruva wanted a win by hook or crook, cheated Vinata. Vinata became a slave of Kadruva.
- Vinata gave birth to two eggs, while Kadruva gave birth to thousands of eggs.
- The eggs of Kadruva started to break and many snakes started coming out.
- Vinata was jealous about having kids, are broke one of her two eggs.
- Out of the egg, came out Anooruva (one with no thighs) and cursed his mother for breaking her egg early and making him crippled. He was a very strong man and later became the chariot rider of Sun.
- The second son of Vinata, is Garuda – who was instrumental in getting Vinata out of slavery.

- Lakshmana did not sleep at all during the vanavasa.
Janamejaya – Takshaka Snake – Astika – Sarpa Satra (Yagna)
- Parikshit (the grandson of Arjuna, son of Abhimanyu) was the only person that could live after the Mahabharata.
- Parikshit was protected by Krishna – as Krishna entered the womb when Parikshit was at an embryo stage. The embryo started seeing Vishnu with Shanka, Chakra etc – so he is named as Parikshit.
- Parikshit was bitten by a snake and later died, due to a curse of a Rishi’s son (for insulting the Rishi with a dead snake).
- Janamejaya (the son of Parikshit) did Sarpa Yagna due to invoke all snakes to fall into the fire of the Yagna.
- Astika (Son of Jaratkaru – and Jaratkaru Manasa Devi) stopped the yagna – asking Janamejaya to restore balance / order in the world.

Asresha = 2 things – twined into one – (Like a phrase where the words have different meanings individually, but the phrase will carry a different meaning)
Abhyagachchantaha = will come very near to something like achievement. Will leave it there and try another one. Sudden changes in life.
AbhyaNrityanto = will hurriedly approach something. After having tried many things prior to this, in the old age native tries to hurriedly achieve something. There can be interest in dancing.
