Rudra – Daksha – Sati:

• Trimurthis are Brahma, Vishnu and Rudra. Prajapati is like Brahma’s son in simple terms. 
• However, Rudra married Sati Devi, Daksha Prajapati’s daughter. 
• Once Daksha and Rudra met some where and Daksha expected some respect from Rudra. However, Rudra did not offer any respect, instead thought Daksha did not respect him – being a Trimurthy.
• Daksha conducted a Yagna (holy sacrifice) in which he did not invite Rudra. 
• However, Sati went to the Daksha-Yagna holy sacrifice, despite Rudra warned her not to go.
• Daksha insulted Sati as Rudra did not respect him. 
• Sati committed suicide by jumping into the fire of the holy sacrifice. 
• Rudra became furious and severed Daksha’s head. 
• Rudra placed a goat’s head (Mesha) on Daksha’s body and Daksha is alive again. 

Rudra – Parvati:

• Rudra in view of helping the whole mankind, drank poison that came from churning the milky-ocean (Ksheera Sagara). Parvati did not stop him but encouraged him to do so.
• Parvati can turn Shiva into Rudra and Rudra back into Shiva. (Siva Viswaha Bheshaji – Shiva Rudrasya Bheshaji). 
• Rudra happens to be born at last of all the Trimurthis but he is above all the three.  
• Rudra helped Brahma in the creation – He adorned into Ardha-Nari-Eshwara Avatara, and made creation possible from one body itself. 

రుద్రస్య బహూ మృగయవః పరస్తాత్ విక్షారో అవస్తాత్

Rudrasya = The Rudra (howler) 

Bahoo = Shoulders (being responsible) / arms (helping hands)

Mrugayavaha = keep hunting (searching something)

Viksharo = Giving up everything

• Highly knowledgeable although young
• Will try to help people without expecting anything 
• Will keep constantly searching for something. 
• Will be provoked and will become angry, if near ones are hurt.
• One of the significations in Arudra will be missing / will die. Reasons are not known in Arudra. If Mercury is in Arudra – this more likely as the dispositor is also in Arudra.
• Will take highly responsibility for the deeds he is doing.
• Will give up everything at the later part of life. 
• Rudra is like a diamond – who is multifaceted – knowledge in various things – or almost everything.
• Rudra helped again and again the same people despite facing insults from them (like Daksha) – Bhola Shankara. 
• Planets in Ardra work positively if native’s married life is good. As long as he is a bachelor / divorcee / widower – things are bad. Rudra howled and was in grief only when he did not have a wife.

Tear Drop: Ardra means wetness. Shiva came howling and crying on every one, on Sati’s death. Anger and crying are part of this nakshatra. Ardra expects thankfulness from the people, whom Ardra helped. However, these people do not reciprocate or appreciate the help done, instead they blame Arudra. Like Dakhsa blamed Rudra (Shiva). As this keeps continuing in life, Arudra reaches a stage of Vikshara – it will not bother them any more.

Male Dog: A male dog is more aggressive and territorial than its female counterpart. 

Diamond: Shines brightest. Multi-faceted. Needs another diamond to be cut.
